CAPACITY BUILDING

We implement mutually reinforcing activities aimed at growing the knowledge and skills of individuals, and improve institutional structures and processes to enable social institutions achieve their objectives effectively, efficiently and sustainably.

With a focus on school teachers, healthcare providers, law enforcement agents, religious and community leaders, our capacity building thrusts are strategically channeled to critical areas of society.

Advocacy

We advocate for creating a community of thoughtful leaders
who are able to change the dynamics of poor governance,
non-accountability to citizens and economic empowerment initiatives.

DE WATSON LEADERSHIP ACADEMY

We equip student leaders in civic engagements, conflict management, community mobilization and inclusive governance. The DE Watson Leadership Academy is fast becoming the largest and most impactful Student Union leadership program in Northeastern Nigeria.

The Academy has trained over ten thousand students across four states of Northern Nigeria.

DRIVING FOR WOMEN INCLUSION IN GOVERNANCE

BEHAVIOUR CHANGE COMMUNICATION

We work to stimulate adoption of appropriate behavior that reduces vulnerability to education, health, social and economic problems. Our goal is to decrease harmful practices such as drug/substance abuse, obscene sexual behaviours, female genital mutilation, forced marriage, rape and other illicit practices that endanger the health and development of youths and children.

We thus develop programs that help achieve this foundational reorientation among members of communities were these vices and practice are most prevalent.
